Building collapse in Booysens leaves one dead

An incident in Booysens earlier today left one person dead and another one sustained moderate injuries. This is after part of the building they were working on collapsed.

ER24 and provincial paramedics arrived on scene and found one person was trapped under. He was assessed and it was found that he had succumbed to his injuries.

ER24’s spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said this about the one survivor, “He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical treatment.”
