On Saturday, Democratic Alliance leader Mmusi Maimane visited Durban on the first leg of the national vision 2029 tour.

The DA leader visited the areas of KwaMashu and Mshayazafe.

Looking around, Maimane said, Mshayazafe and KwaMashu are one of KZN’s forgotten communities.

He stressed that the communities were forgotten by the African National Congress, forgotten by the KZN provincial government, and forgotten by the City Council and its ANC ward councillors.

Maimane urged residents to voye out the party that has forgotten the residents.

Spokesperson to the DA leader Mabine Seabe said DA leader Mmusi Maimane was in KZN on the vision 2029 tour and on his first stop he was in KwaMashu where he saw the dire conditions of housing and lack of toilets.

He said, it’s a clear case that the community has been forgotten by the ANC government.

As the DA we are saying that for change to happen you need to vote differently and that change will come with the DA government, Seabe added.
