An accident on the N3 Durban
bound before Shongweni has left one person dead.
This is after the truck the
man was driving went through a barrier and rolled numerous times down an
embankment.
ER24 Spokesperson Chitra
Bodasing said when ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene they
found the badly damaged truck down the embankment and a man, believed to be the
truck driver, lying a few metres away.
The man was assessed and it
was found that he had unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. He sustained
multiple injuries. He was declared dead.
The exact details to the cause
of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
