A Pretoria man is in a serious condition after he
was shot in the head outside a hotel on the corners of Wessels and Church Road
last night.
ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said, ER24 paramedics
as well as SAPS were alerted to the scene and upon arrival, they found the
patient in the reception area of the hotel.
Meiring added that, when they assessed the patient they found that he
was in a serious state, yet fully conscious.
“Treatments as well as life support interventions were
immediately performed on the patient before he was transported to Meulmed
hospital for further treatment.” Meiring said.
The exact details to the cause of the shooting will
remain the subject of a police investigation.
