Four killed after two vehicles collide Louw’s Creek Park

Four people were killed Saturday evening when two vehicles collided on Louw’s Creek Park Road between Barberton and Nelspruit.

ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak said, “When paramedics arrived on the scene, they found that three people were already dead. Two people were trapped in the vehicle. Paramedics struggled for over an hour to free them from the wreckage. Upon one of the people being freed, sadly he lost all signs of life. Paramedics tried everything they could but could not revive him. He was declared dead on the scene. Another person was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.”

The exact cause of the collision is not yet known, however local authorities attended the incident and will conduct an investigation to establish the cause of the collision.

Meanwhile, a woman was killed and two others sustained minor injuries when their vehicle overturned on Albertina Sisulu drive in Bosmont, west of Johannesburg Sunday morning.
Vermaak said, at 4 am, paramedics arrived and found that a woman lying a few metres from the vehicle. When paramedics assessed her, they found that she had already died. The two other woman were transported to Life Flora Clinic.


The exact cause of the collision is not yet known, however, authorities were on scene for further investigation.
