One left dead after two bakkies collide on Tongaat

One man died and another was critically injured after two bakkies collided on the R102 in the Tongaat near Frasers.

A report from the scene indicates that the vehicle has burst into flames soon after impact.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said, “When Netcare paramedics and other services arrived at the scene found the vehicles well alight.

She said while fireman fought the blaze medics worked tirelessly to treat the critically wounded man before they transported them to a near hospital for the care that he required.


Exact details to the cause of the accident and proceeding, however, will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
