Fifteen people were injured this
morning, most of them school children, when a taxi and light motor vehicle
collided at the Slangspruit and Trewlayney Road intersection in

found both vehicles parked on the side of the road outside the school.
Children that had been in the
taxi were found sitting on the sidewalk with their teacher.

found on the scene and found that 14 children and one adult had sustained only
minor injuries in the collision.
Fortunately no serious or fatal
injuries were found on scene, Meiring mentioned
The kids were treated on
scene and thereafter transported to various facilities for further treatment.
