A six year old child and an adult man drowned in a
swimming pool at a residential dwelling in Bordeaux in Randburg, Johannesburg
yesterday.
The cause of this accident remains unknown, SAPS
were on scene for investigation.
ER24 spokesperson Pieter Rossouw says “ER24
paramedics responded to the incident, but sadly there was nothing that could be
done for the adult patient who was declared dead on the scene”.
Rossouw added that the child was transported to
Mediclinic Sandton, but was also declared dead at arrival at the hospital.
