Western Cape Health MEC, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo will launch the educational campaign
“What to expect when you’re expecting" for expectant mothers today.
Spokesperson to the MEC, Coleen Smart says, this campaign will focus on providing guidelines and education to potential and soon-to-be mothers about what they can expect at public health facilities from the day they are confirmed pregnant to the day the baby is born.
“We will focus on providing our clients information about the service packages at our health care facilities, and also to create awareness so that they understand their responsibility in the process and that of the healthcare workers and also to improve our client experiences in our public health facilities” Smart concluded.
