Police are searching for five
men who are allegedly behind armed robbery, and kidnapping and murdering a seven-month
pregnant woman.
The suspects forcefully
entered a shack at Saselani and abducted the 20-year-old woman after robbing her
siblings at gunpoint.
Police Spokesperson Gerald
Sedibe said they demanded money after which the victims handed over an
undisclosed amount of cash to them.
“The thugs then fled the scene
and forcefully took the 20-year-old sibling with them, a Grade 12 learner. She
was found the following day not far from the scene brutally murdered,” Sedibe
added
Police urge any person with
information regarding the whereabouts of the thugs to contact Warrant Officer
Vincent Monaiwa on 082 054 2980 or 013 799 5517/8.
