Woodstock police sought a 29 year old for house robbery

Police are seeking information regarding a Walmer Estate home break in and stabbing on July 18th.

The victim, a 55-year-old man, was awoken at approximately 5 o’clock in the morning by a noise coming from upstairs.

As he was stabbed several times, the complainant was able to identify the intruder as a former housemate.

Captain FC Van Wyk said the complaint managed to remove the balaclava of the suspects and noticed it was somebody used to stay with him previous.

Van Wyk added that the suspect is known to the complainant as Patrick Abongile Bill form the Kraafontein and Kuils River area


A case of robbery was opened for investigation purposes and the suspect is still at large.
