Masiphumelele Community Leader Lubabalo Vellem was charged
on Friday with murder, attempted murder, assault
GBH and public violence at Siomonstown magistrates. Vellem was arrested two weeks ago as part of a police
crack down on mob justice in Masiphumelele. Tshepo Moletsane ANC Branch
secetary in Masiphumele is at the court and explains:
“We know that there is a bail hearing
underway and that this is being opposed. There is a large crowd outside and in
the court”
