Nomafrench Mbombo launched the R100 million expansion and upgrade of the
Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Unit
today.
The expansion will increase
the 22-bed facility to 39 bed spaces.
“This upgrade amounts to R100
million that will ensure that our littlest soul that needs medical attention is
prioritised.” Spokesperson for MEC Mbombo Colleen Smart explains said.
