Thirteen deaths recorded on Western Cape roads

Twelve road-blocks were respectively conducted on Friday and Saturday. Thirteen fatalities were reported on Western Cape roads this past weekend.

Western Cape Traffic Chief, Kenny Africa said that in Elsiesriver one pedestrian was killed and another pedestrian was killed in eMfuleni in a motor vehicle accident.


Meanwhile, the highest speed recorded in the Western Cape since Friday is 194km/h in a 120km zone on the N2 in Mossel Bay. And 124km/h on an 80km zone on N1outside Worcester.
