In the Early hours of this morning, two occupants of a taxi were fatally shot at the corners of St. Patricks Way and St. Stephens Avenue in Seawinds.

It is believed that taxi violence and random shootings caused the death of two adult males.

EMS media officer Robert Daniels says “Taxi violence and random shootings cause the death of two adult males in the Capricorn Village near Muizenberg at 6:45 this morning.”

A Western Cape Government Medical Services ambulance was also caught up in the cross-fire and required the police to escort to leave the area, Daniels said.
