Afriforum to petition Parliament over current water crisis

Afriforum will today ask Parliament to consider a petition to address the water crisis in the country.

They also want the fitness of the Regulator to be investigated.

Afriforum’s Head of Environmental Affairs Julius Kleynhans explained that they hope Parliament will consider putting an Ad-hoc Committee together to investigate the water crisis in the country.

To investigate the competence of the Department of Water and Sanitation.


“Also to address the fitness of the Minister of Water and Sanitation.” Kleynhans said.
