The Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba on Thursday opened the new home affairs office in Somerset West, Western Cape.

The new office replaces the old and dilapidated structure that previously served as a service point and forms part of the Mordenisation Programme of the department of Home Affairs.

Minister Gigaba explains…….

Government as a whole will have access to up to date data of South Africans and Foreign Nationals for economic development, security, governance and administration, as well as for service delivery which will enable government to plan better for the services it seeks that it seeks to provide to know who are the people that are in our country and to be able to plague onto those platforms.”
