A taxi driver had to be
extricated from a vehicle after he lost control of the taxi and crashed into a
tree on Bowker Road,in Oribi Pietermaritzburg, this morning.
ER24 paramedics and other
services arrived on scene and found the taxi driver trapped in the vehicle,
three other peoplewere found laying and sitting on a driveway close to the
taxi.
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing
added that “The man was treated for
moderate injuries and other passengers were treated for minor injuries.”
The exact cause of the incident
is unknown,authorities were on scene for further investigations.
