Nine people were injured yesterday
evening after a delivery van and truck collided on the R59 in Vereeniging.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring says... “Paramedic’s
responded to the scene, and on arrival found both the vehicle in the emergency
lane of the road.”
He also
added that “Paramedics found that nine people had been injured in the collision.”
“All the
patients were found to have been on the back of the delivery van at the time of
the incident.”
“One of
the patients had been ejected from the vehicle and had sustained moderate
injuries.”
“Paramedics
treated the patients and thereafter transported all of them to Sasolburg Hospital
for further treatment.” He concluded
