Angry Durban hostel dwellers are threatening violence if their demands aren't met.

Umlazi hostel residents marched through the CBD on Saturday.
They are demanding answers from the eThekwini municipality about an unfinished housing project in T-section.

The multi-phase development was due to be completed by 2011.

Marchers handed over a list of their demands to city officials and want answers within a week. Mthembiseni Thusi of the Ubunye Dama Hostel Organisation said

"Within a week, they must give us a response, if they are failing to do so, we are going to ask our comrades from other hostel to, to be part of a huge march before election. They need to respond immediately before the bloodshed starts".
