The Congress of the People, in a statement
issued, says it is encouraged that accidents and fatalities this Easter, going
by the preliminary figures released by the Minister of Transport, have declined
appreciably.
Cope Spokesperson Dennis Bloem said
“The congress of the people is very much encouraged by the preliminary
figures released by the Minister of Transport Dipuo Peters, accidents and
fatalities have declined we are very happy about that.
Last year between 24- 28
march 287 died on our roads this year, that number has been reduced to 115
fatalities this is a very welcomed 46 % decline.”
