Eskom says the power utility
does not expect to have to implement load-shedding as the country moves through
the end of summer into winter, its CEO Brian Molefe confirmed.
Molefe says Eskom has been
briefing Parliament's public enterprises committee this morning.
He adds that Eskom's planned
maintenance programme means the country has gone more than 6 months without
load shedding.
Last month Molefe said the
utility is on track with its projected maintenance and it will continue working
to generate more capacity on the grid.
