“Oscar Pistorius's family will comment at a later stage on a Constitutional Court ruling, dismissing the paralympian's application for leave to appeal his murder conviction”.

“Family spokesperson Anneliese Burgess says she has informed the family of the ruling and they are deciding on a way forward. The National Prosecuting Authority has welcomed the judgment”.

“Pistorius, who is out on bail of R 10 000, will now have to appear in the high court in Pretoria on April 18 for sentencing”.

“He approached the Constitutional Court after the Supreme Court of Appeal overturned his culpable homicide conviction and ruled that he was guilty of murdering Reeva Steenkamp three years ago”.
