United Democratic Movement leader, Bantu Holomisa says, the democratic project of South Africa is still alive.

He says that they are happy that the Public Protector’s powers has been affirmed.

He says “We have taken note that Zuma has failed to protect the Constitution and also violated the oath of office in the process.”

He adds that “We then call upon ANC which brought Zuma after elections, to recall him because people did not vote for Zuma, people voted for the ANC and other parties, but now that he has brought the country into disrepute he should start packing his bag with immediate effect.”

On the other side the Congress of the People says it is excited about the outcome of the judgement of the Con Court.

Cope Spokesperson Dennis Bloem says “We have said that president Zuma has broken his record.”

Bloem concluded that “He cannot be called President he is not suitable to be president of the country that is why we are saying we are vindicated as the congress of the we stood firm to say that he is no the president of this country.”
