Drug burst over the weekend in the Country

A 57-year-old man was arrested in Durban at the weekend when he was found in possession of hydroponic dagga plants with a street value of R100 000, KwaZulu-Natal police said today. The raid took place on Friday in Bluff. The man was also found in possession of an unlicensed firearms and ammunition.


Meanwhile a search operation conducted by Beaufort West police yielded a massive haul of mandrax tablets worth R10 million in the early hours of this morning, Western Cape police said. Provincial management commended the Beaufort West police for the good work. The seizure and arrest were believed to have made a major dent to the drug trade
