Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa says in a statement nothing is going to happen that will disrupt South Africa’s stability as a democracy because the institutions supporting its democracy are robust.

He’s been taking questions about policy certainty and business regulation at the World Economic Forum Africa meeting in Rwanda. Ramaphosa says the country’s stability is not under threat.

He says The South African democracy is stable, strong and robust and nothing that will disturb that stability is going to happen.

The deputy president also says a new regulatory framework that’s currently being developed will be much friendlier for business.
