Three people are expected to
appear in court after they were involved in a shootout with police in Nyanga. Two
men and a woman, were arrested yesterday in possession of guns and
ammunition.
The arrest occurred at their
residence in Nyanga following a brief shootout where no one was injured.
It’s alleged they shot at
Hawks and Flying Squad members who were conducting a raid in the township. They’re
expected to appear in the Athlone Magistrate Court on Thursday.
