A mother of two siblings shot dead in Mtata. The Arosi Family

The mother of the two siblings shot dead in Mthatha on Sunday has also died.

Lindiwe Arosi is said to have died soon after she was admitted to the Nelson Mandela
Central Hospital with gun wounds to her stomach on Sunday night. 

Arosi’s death comes after her son Buntu and daughter Ntandokazi died when four men armed with R5s opened fire on them on Sunday night. 

Ntandokazi Arosi was injured during the shooting and rushed to hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. Her husband Sazi Arosi, died of natural causes almost three weeks ago. 

Police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela said no arrests had been made yet. He said there are strong leads they are following and arrests will be made soon. 

Fatyela says "51 year old woman together with her two children,a 5 year old boy and a 21year old girl was gunned down by unknown suspect that arrived at their place at waterfall park Umtata on Sunday 20:00pm. At this stage no arrests has been made but police are following very good leads that might lead tothe right source of it all.Murder docets were opened at the police station for further investigation."
