MEC hands over Safety Kiosk in Company’s Gardens

Western Cape MEC for Community Safety, Dan Plato, will today officially hand over a Safety Kiosk to the Cape Town Central City Improvement District at the entrance to the Company’s Gardens.

The Safety Kiosk will be utilized for crime prevention by increasing visibility in hotspot areas and through daily operations and blitzes in partnership with the CCID in and around The Company’s Garden in the City of Cape Town.

During the handover ceremony of the Safety Kiosk, MEC Plato will also hand over a Public Safety Certificate to Khumbuzile Vanya.


MEC spokesperson Ewald Botha, in a statement issued says, “The handover of the kiosk to the Cape Town CCID forms part of the delivery of the Safety Kiosks under the new Safety Partnerships”.
