Parliament's
ad hoc committee says the process of finding Public Protector Thuli Madonsela’s
successor will be transparent, adding that the interviews of
the candidates will be broadcast live on TV.
The
nomination process closed on Friday. Former president Thabo Mbeki and
former first lady Graca Machel have both indicated that they will not be
available for the job.
After
seven year at the helm, Madonsela’s term comes to an end in October.
Parliament's ad hoc committee chair Makhosi
Khoza says the process will be made extremely transparent.
Khoza says
the public will be kept in the loop throughout the process.
