A Port Elizabeth man who deceived investors of at least R6 million will have to pay all of the money back.

The 55-year-old man is believed to have promised investors their investment would grow by up to 35% a month.

He was found guilty in the Port Elizabeth Specialised Commercial Crimes Court this week and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Hawks spokesperson Anelisa Feni says the fraudster is also required to pay back an additional R500, 000 in curator fees.
