15 injured in morning collision

15 People were injured in a collision between a taxi and two other vehicles at the Du Randt and Vermeulen intersection in Putfontein this morning. The cause of the incident is unknown.

ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing says “Paramedics as well as other services arrived on the scene and found the taxi in the field. The two cars were still on the road.”

People were found walking around on the scene.

Bodasing says “Paramedics found that they sustained minor to moderate injuries.”

All those injured were treated and transported to a hospital for further medical care.

Authorities were on the scene for further investigation.
