8 individuals to represent SA in Glasgow Scotland for Homeless Street Soccer Cup

Western Cape MEC for Cultural Affairs and Sports, Anroux Marais, will bid farewell to the team who will represent South Africa at the Annual Homeless Street Soccer World Cup in Scotland, tomorrow.

MEC spokesperson Stacy McLean say “This will take place from 10-16 July 2016.”

“Through community based street soccer initiatives, the team of 8 players was selected from across the country.


She concluded that “For the first time, the team includes two female players”
