Celebrating Mandela Day

City of Cape Town’s Staff from the Social Development and Early Childhood Development Directorate will paint the fence and equipment of the Child Minors crèche in Khayelitsha as part of the 67 minutes of Mandela Day.

The members will be joined by various staff members from different departments within the City of Cape Town.

This includes Mayoral Committee Member for Safety and Security, Alderman JP Smith, who will help to paint the Nomonde Educare facility in Langa.

Meanwhile, Helderberg Nature Reserve staff will be greening a portion of the Helderberg Hospice in Somerset West.
