The Department of Home Affairs has called on citizens to collect their identity documents before Election Day in two weeks’ time.

Minister Malusi Gigaba says about 250 000 green ID books and smart ID cards have not been collected nationwide.

He has urged political parties and local governments to assist citizens with transport to enable them to collect their documents before voting day.
