Two alleged mob justice attacks have led to the death of two people in a Stellenbosch township in the space of less than 10 hours.

In the latest incident, a man was found dead in Khayamandi last night with multiple wounds on his body.

The man's murder came several hours after two men were attacked in front of a shopping centre in the area.

One of the men died later in the hospital.

The police's Frederick van Wyk says three suspects have since been arrested in connection with the first incident.
