The IEC has released the special votes report for the local government election. The following report is for all the municipalities in the Western Cape:
The City of Cape Town had 6, 945 special votes and the total amount of votes casted were 1 464 048.
Whereas in Stellenbosch the total amount of votes cast tallied up to 114 615 with 301 special votes.
The total amount of votes in Drakenstein were 250 630 with 2 851 special votes cast.
However the Theewaterskloof total amount of votes were we 99 506 and the special votes were 1 540.
