Former Johannesburg Mayor Parks Tau says the African National Congress
must confront the abuses of state agencies.
Tau appeared to throw his weight
behind Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan who failed to report to the Hawks last
week for a warning statement.
Gordhan and three other former South African
Revenue Services officials have been identified as suspects in an investigation
into a controversial unit.
Tau says the ANC must be bold enough to confront the
wrongs happening within the organisation and in government.
