3 people
have been killed and several others injured in an accident on the N14 highway
in Centurion.
Part of the
highway has been closed-off as a helicopter is expected to land on the scene
soon near the R55 off-ramp. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
Tshwane
Emergency Services spokesperson Johan Pieterse said there were two vehicles
involved, one vehicle being a contractor’s vehicle that transports workers. It
is said that a vehicle lost control, overturned and there was multiple patients
on scene.
