Early morning crash claims Three lives in Johannesburg

Three people were killed when their car crashed into the back of a truck on the N12 west near the Kliprivier Road off-ramp in Johannesburg early this morning.
ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak said paramedics found two men lying next to the car when they arrived on the scene.
He says Both men sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead on the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was trapped and Once freed, paramedics were able to assess the full extent of his injuries. 
While paramedics were working on him, the driver's vital signs suddenly deteriorated. Paramedics could not revive him and he was later declared dead on the scene.
A fourth person, found in the back of the car, sustained only moderate injuries.

The cause of the crash was not yet known.
