Two men escaped serious injury last night after a tree fell
on their light motor vehicle on Old Main Road in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene in the early evening
hours and found the light motor vehicle in the middle of the road with a large
tree lying across the bonnet. The occupants, both men, were found walking
around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed both men and found that one man had
escaped injury while the second man, believed to be in his 20s, sustained only
minor injuries.
The man was treated for his injuries and thereafter
transported to a nearby Provincial Hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
