The National Prosecuting Authority says it will decide within two weeks whether to charge suspended Western Cape ANC chairperson Marius Fransman with sexual harassment or not.
Fransman was suspended for
five years after an ANC disciplinary committee found him guilty of sexually
assaulting his then personal assistant - Louisa Wynand. Fransman is also
accused of bringing the party into disrepute.
ANC secretary-general Gwede
Mantashe has apparently called on Fransman to refrain from making allegations
related to his suspension in the media.
