Pedestrian seriously injured in collision

This morning a man, believed to be in his 20s, was left seriously injured after he was hit by a car on the St Johns Road in Pinetown, KwaZulu Natal.

Upon assessment, it was discovered that the man had sustained serious injuries to his legs, leaving him in a serious condition.

The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to RK Khan Hospital for further treatment.

The driver of the vehicle was assessed and found to have escaped injury.


Local authorities were on the scene to begin their investigations.
