Protests have erupted again

Protests have erupted again at the University of the Western Cape campus.

Yesterday morning some protesting students tried to prevent other students from getting into buses to transport them to various off-campus examination sites.

Security officials at UWC’s main entrance warned visitors that they enter at their own risk.


It is believed that bystanders say police used water cannons at the time to disperse the protesting crowd.
