According the Western Cape government, today as part of their
ongoing commemoration of Disability Awareness Month, the Western Cape MEC for
Social Development, Albert Fritz, will host a paint and arts fun day for 19
children with disabilities in Khayelitsha.
The fun day will be held at the Sibongile Day & Night
Care Centre, an ECD centre and home for children with physical and intellectual
disabilities, funded by the Department.
MEC Fritz will be joined by renowned quadriplegic
mouth-painter, Mr. Brenton Swartz, from the Andries Olivier Quadriplegic
Centre, who will host a mouth painting demonstration and lesson for the
children and MEC Fritz.
