President Jacob Zuma will today make his first public appearance in Durban since the 'State of Capture' report was released on Wednesday.

Zuma is set to address African National Congress party members in Dumbe in the Abaqulusi region in the northern part of KwaZulu-Natal.

Prior to this year's local government elections, President Zuma campaigned vigorously in this area.

The ANC had always occupied opposition party benches in the Dumbe Municipality, but managed to win it for the first time after the August polls.

President Zuma and provincial party chairperson Sihle Zikalala are expected to join the people of the area to celebrate the party's victory.
