Teacher among 3 people arrested for Amy'Leigh kidnapping

Six year old AmyLeigh de Jager who was kidnapped in front in front of her schools front gate minutes after her had dropped her at crèche in Laerskool Kollegepark. The kidnapers drove off in a white Toyota Fortune.

Fortunately the six year old has been reunited with her family after the kidnapers dropped her off on Tuesdays around 02:00 to 02:30pm on the streets of Vanderbijilpark. News24 reported that a teacher at her school was involved in her kidnapping and the teacher has since been removed from the schools website. This was confirmed by AmyLeigh's father, Wynand de Jager, as well as a second trusted source close to the investigation. An arrest has since been made with regard to the kidnapping, the police of Vanderbijilpark arrested 3 people aged between 27 and 50.

Gauteng education spokesperson said “Steve Mabona could not confirm whether a teacher at the school had been arrested, saying he was still making inquiries”.
