Police has confirmed that a 15-year-old
boy was shot dead and a 13-year-old girl injured in Delft on Saturday.
Police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk said that the
shooting occurred just before 6 p.m on the corners of Elands and
Butsak streets in Leiden on Friday.
It is believed that the teenagers had been walking to a
shop when a vehicle pulled up and unknown gunmen opened fire on them.
Police said that a case of murder and attempted murder are being probed.
