Two bodies discovered in Mitchell’s Plain bushes

Western Cape police are appealing for information after two bodies were found in the bushes along Baden Powell Drive in Mitchells Plain on Wednesday afternoon.

The police’s Brigadier Novela Potelwa explains that the police followed specific information that led them to the two bodies, which were found between Gate 1 and 2 of the Wolfgat Nature Reserve.

“Upon arrival at about 13:50 detectives made the discovery of the bodies that were bound and in an advanced stage of decomposition. Crime scene experts including forensic experts attended the scene,” she said.

Potelwa added that anyone with information about the bodies believed to be of a man and a woman, or the events that led to the murders, is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Randall Davids on 082 777 8076 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111
