A man is in a serious condition in hospital following a motor vehicle accident involving a taxi and a bus on the coroner of Robert Sobukwe & Symphony Way, in Belville, Cape Town on Wednesday morning.
The taxi was caught beneath the side of the bus
(partially underneath the bus) and one patient was trapped.
‘’Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to
an MVA which involved a taxi and a bus. The call came through at 07:34 and the
Rescue team arrived at 07:37. The bus was lifted by EMS’ Rescue team and with
the help of the Fire department they were able to extricate the patient with
the Jaws of Life.‘’ said EMS’ Deanna Bessick
